ABOUT THE PROJECT
“Polish 2nd Corps Virtual Museum” is a long-term project, initiated in 2021 on the initiative of the World Polonia Council (Rada Polonii Świata) and Mrs. Teresa Berezowska from Canada, implemented in partnership with the Polska360 Foundation from Warsaw, which since 2015 has been implementing a number of projects documenting the fate of the soldiers of the 2nd Corps ( including a project of biographical interviews with soldiers of the 2nd Corps from Poland and Great Britain, 2016-2017, the exhibition “Ruins at the Monte Cassino – the fate of the Kresowiaks – soldiers of the 2nd Corps” – financed by the Office for Veterans and Victims of Oppression; caring for 2 Corps combatants in Poland or permanent cooperation from 2017 with the Association of Former Soldiers of the Polish Armed Forces in the West “Carpathians” from Warsaw). O PROJEKCIE
“Wirtualne Muzeum 2 Korpusu” jest projektem wieloletnim, zainicjowanym w 2021 r. z inicjatywy Rady Polonii Świata i Pani Teresy Berezowskiej z Kanady, realizowanym w partnerstwie z Fundacją Polska360 z Warszawy, która od 2015 r. realizuje szereg projektów dokumentujących losy żołnierzy 2 Korpusu (m.in. projekt notacji biograficznych z żołnierzami 2 Korpusu z Polski i Wielkiej Brytanii, 2016-2017, wystawa “Gruzy na szczycie – losy Kresowiaków – żołnierzy 2 Korpusu” – ze środków Urzędu do Spraw Kombatantów i Osób Represjonowanych; sprawowanie opieki nad kombatantami 2 Korpusu czy stała współpraca od 2017 r. ze Stowarzyszeniem Byłych Żołnierzy Polskich Sił Zbrojnych na Zachodzie “Karpatczycy” z Warszawy).
